Located 160 kilometers north of Sydney and home to about 0.7 million people is the gorgeous Hunter Valley. The valley is situated along the Hunter River and consists of many towns and villages. The traditional folk festivals are a big draw at the Hunter. The mixture of jazz, opera, seafood and local food is the major highlight of these festivals.
