Located 160 kilometers north of Sydney and home to about 0.7 million people is the gorgeous Hunter Valley. The valley is situated along the Hunter River and consists of many towns and villages. The Valley stretches from the Goulburn River and Wollemi National Park to the south right up to the Barrington Tops National Park to the North. It is famously divided into Lower Hunter and Upper Hunter. The Valley is most popular for its wineries and coal industries.
